ATLANTA - Former Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell, who has spent more than two years in prison and a halfway house for tax evasion, is a free man.
Traci Billingsley, spokeswoman for the federal Bureau of Prisons, says the 55-year-old Campbell, who served eight years as Atlanta's mayor, was released Friday from a Salvation Army halfway house in West Palm Beach, Fla.
