R.I.P to Dolla

Roderick Anthony Burton II aka Dolla was shot and killed, shortly after 3:00 PM near the La Cienega Boulevard entrance of the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, after a fight between a group of individuals broke out. His music, life, and dream will live on as he joins the other great musicians in that gangsta paradise.

Dolla, was just 21.

He was an up-and-coming rapper signed to AKON's production company and achieved success with his T-PAIN-assisted track Who the F*** Is That.

Witnesses said four to five shots rang out at the normally quiet shopping centre.

Dolla was then taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he later died from injuries.

The sad thing is that this up and coming young rapper sung about a life that took his. I remember when people use to resolve issues with their fists. However, real men/women are gone, now the gun is the mouthpiece that seems to speak for justice.

We have lost so many young people to violence on the street. This makes me so sad. These producers see "money" so they get these young kids in the "game" the "biz" but they fail to mentor them to change their lifestyle. So tragic.
