Oops I forgot
That is what Charles Rangel is claiming. Apparently Rep. Charles Rangel failed to report as much as $1.3 million in outside income -- including up to $1 million for a Harlem building sale -- on financial-disclosure forms he filed between 2002 and 2006, according to newly amended records.
It also seems Rangel (who as we know is being look at by the House of Ethics Committee) failed to reveal over 3 million dollars in other various business transactions.
I know this comment is redundant but how can these officials "forget," to report things on their tax forms and it takes years and years for the IRS to crack down on them. I forget ONE thing and probably will be audited for life. It just amazes me. It is simply outrageous what these officials get away with. I really am sorry for the students getting into political science. What a headache to study that course now.
