JonBenet Ramsey , media explotation
Okay I need to know the name of the Rock you were under if you have not heard the case of JonBenet Ramsey. This media bliss (with the recent arrest of her supposedly killer) blew the terroist activity off the front pages.
Creepy wannabe murderer John Mark Karr returned to the United States voluntarily where he faced charges for the killing of JonBenet Ramsey. Thanks to the muckraking efforts of cable news and press reporters, we learned what delicacies Karr consumed during his flight from Thailand, among other details about his personal life. Now: Name the other story last week involving the murder of a pretty little girl.
You wouldn't know because this story of these rich sububanites have dominated the media. We have so many chidren who sit in front of the televison with their parents, taking in these events and seeing this image of this young girl over and over again. We don't know the fear that some of these children have if things are not explained properly.
The pain suffered in this tragedy is a TV ratings gain. What a blessing for the cable news bozos, that just when the American public finally tired of being force-fed every other white girl in distress, the dead for a decade JonBenet comes back to join us, and is kind enough to bring an alleged child porn connoisseur with her. Is that harsh?...perhaps.
We need some base, salacious scandal to titillate us in our spare time – otherwise Nancy Grace and her hideous grill wouldn't have a job in television. Court TV would no longer have a place in your basic cable package.
