David Patterson visits Harlem

Well, not too good a week for David Patterson. I think he meant well by being upfront with his infidelity, but sometimes it is best to keep some things to ourselves. I always thought that when folks come out and volunteer things that usually more coals are about to go in the fire.
Okay, what I don't understand is his wife also admitted infidelity. Has it come to this that before you take any elected office that you have to bear your soul to the public.

I once heard a saying, "he who is without sin cast the first stone. " Some of the same people who are so critical are also those don't want those skeletons being dugg up in their closets.

Anyway, Governor David Paterson received a warm welcome at a Saturday meeting at the Reverend Al Sharpton's National Action Network House of Justice in Harlem, where he reaffirmed his commitment to his official duties. I don't know if aligning yourself with Al Sharpton is the way to go, but he did want the people of Harlem know he will never forget his roots.
