Walgreens Racial Settlement Approved

A federal judge has signed off on Walgreen plan to pay $24 million to settle a federal lawsuit alleging racial bias at the nation's largest drugstore chain. This settlement resolves the past lawsuit with about 10,000 past and present black Walgreen workers. They will split 20 million dollars.

The attorneys involved in the case will share the difference, in fees separate from the settlement amount.

Walgreen said it has 230,000 workers in its 6,237 stores in 49 states and Puerto Rico.

Most of these district & store managers are just that- "managers". If Walgreens had "leaders", people who treat employees with respect, this case would never happened.
CLEAN HOUZE WALGREENS. Get rid of these small town country managers & maybe that stock price will go back up !!.
