What is Obama's religion

Many cannot get Obama's religion right. One in 10 voters believes Barack Obama is Muslim, a mistaken impression that lingers across party lines, a poll showed Wednesday.Fourteen percent of Republicans, 10 percent of Democrats and 8 percent of independents mistakenly think he is Muslim, according to a survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center. Just over half of each group correctly identified him as Christian, while about a third said they don't know his religion.

I wonder if a married a man named "Goldstein," would people automatically think I was of the Jewish fate? What does a name have to specifically do with a person's religious choice?

The Pew poll
was conducted March 19-22. It involved telephone interviews with 1,503 adults, including 618 Democratic and Democratic-leaning registered voters. The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 3 percentage points for all adults and 4.5 percentage points for Democratic voter. The poll also states the Wright affair hasn't really hurt Obama among Democrats, but he is still having trouble with the older, white working class.

Some of those people don't know if they are coming or going. They all know he is Christian, they just refuse to accept it. Have of those that don't know his religion, probably don't know he's running for President, either.

Let's hope the younger white voters outnumber the older ones. I think their vote will clearly state where the direction of our country will be heading since they are the voices and leaders of tomorrow.

The younger voters are dictating the race. They do indeed hold the future of the world in their hands.
