Old School Friday-Outside My Box

Well, we have come to the end of the week. Wow where is the year going? Ms Grapevine and MarvalusOne have teamed up to create a meme titled Old School Friday. To join in the Old School Friday Fun go Here for guidelines. I can't believe the week is going by so fast. Forget the week, what about the year. I often go outside my box. My friends really never know what I will do day to day, because I believe in spontaneity.

Okay get ready for a Country Music and a Reggae mix. You "KNOW" I have to do my Reggae. The first selection is by "Toots and the Maytals," an old school reggae group.

and this is an artist (Sandra Cross) who was not given her due in Jamaica. She is very talented. A real smooth sound.

These songs aren't bad, I actually like them. When I first heard country and reggae, I was scared, but it's a lot more reggae, than country. Thank God!

Happy OSF! I may have missed the information about your health issues. Please know that I'm adding you to my prayer list today.

In the meantime, I enjoyed your two selections. I'm not a big country or reggae fan ... but, I appreciate the lyrics and the passion in both genres...

I invite your blog readers to see my choice for an out of the box artist who resides in my village iPod...

peace, Villager
