Katrina Remembered- 4 years


President Obama used his weekly radio and Internet address Saturday to mark the fourth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, saying that his administration is cutting red tape and bulking up resources to accelerate the Gulf Coast's recovery from the storm.

It is a shame that after all these years we still have so many displaced families. This was the best evidence of "what" not to do in case of an emergency. Fema was not prepared and dropped the ball.

Katrina has to be one of the largest scale disasters I have seen in my lifetime.

The fallout continues, trust me. I have family still dealing with the emotional fallout in addition to trying to regain some sense of normalcy.
