This is truly going to be a test for Obama, when he has to stand by the immigration laws he signed recently. "The case is unusual in American history because it’s a relative of the president involved in immigration matters," said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies. "It really does present the White House with an opportunity or a minefield. If they follow through on a decision that she should go home, that would actually raise the president’s credibility enormously on immigration enforcement."
I can't imagine the task of having to send a family member back to a place where she cannot get some of the opportunities for her family.

This one of those damned if you do damne if you don't type of situations for the POTUS. Although I'm not aware of all of the wherefores and howcomes - I'm thinking that if she were my aunt that I would do everything I could to help her stay in the country. Just not right to put the Pres in this situation if you ask me. If this were any other president it would have been handled and handled very quietly.
Send her home for a "vacay" and sneak her back after a month or so. That way stick to the rules, and go through the "correct" process to get her back.
It's sad, they will use anything to score political points. She's the Aunt of the President, she should stay, it shouldn't be a issues. I could see if she was the Aunt of a Junior Senator from Illinois, then I would say she should be departed.
I think with every move he makes it's a damned if you do dmned if you don't situation. He will continue to be under the microscope throughout his tenure in the white house.
I think he should send her back and then bring her back over legally. But if he breaks the rules or tries to sneak her back in he will surely get caught. There are to many out there trying to ensure that he fails, I'm sure they are watching EVERY move he makes.
