Hiding in Hip Hop

Terrance Dean tell-all book Hiding In Hip Hop? is suppose to be this big tell all book about gay lifestyle in the hip hop community. The entertainment industry vet and former down-low brother Dean tells us the entire film—catchily named "X'pos'D" —will be going up on YouTube soon, and that the LOGO network has "expressed interest" in it. It will explore "why the black community is afraid to address the taboo of homosexuality."

Below is an interview he gave to Sohh.com.

I think that one thing the video focused on, which is true, is that a gay rapper would have to change many of the lyrics in their songs. You suppose to be hardcore and raw. I think Terrance Dean is a publicity whore. If the people want to out themselves let them. Even though he doesn't any names, it is obvious that indeed we have all manner of lifestyles in hip hop. So a person's sexual orientation should not affect his record sales, but it could.

Very interesting and thanks for the clips. I'd heard about this but not in any detail. What's funny to me is that people seem to think that if one is gay they still can't be macho and kick your azz. LOL! Who said every gay man is feminine acting?
