Well, Japan is a country known for trend setters. Last Tuesday , American singer Jero took home the Best New Artist award at the 50th Japan Record Awards ceremony. Jero ( Jerome White, Jr.), who is African American and hails from Pittsburgh, rocketed to fame in 2008 with his smash debut single, "Umiyuki" (Ocean Snow).
