Old School Friday-TV Theme

Okay, just getting in from work and of course I have to do my Old School Friday. This weeks theme is television theme songs. I remember knowing the lyrics to television shows better then some popular songs. Okay don't laugh but this was one of my favorite shows growing up in the 1960's, Petticoat Junction. God I use to get some big laughs at the "Shady Rest."

I was an "unconventional" television watcher. My mom used the television as a baby sitter so trust me I could "Really" take you guys back to some television themes.

This is one of the most popular songs that have no lyrics. I lived in Panama for awhile and this theme song in Spanish is hilarious. Hawaii 5 0 with "book em Dano" was the BOMB back in da day!

Now to give respect to the creators of this wonderful meme,Ms Grapevine and MarvalusOne have teamed up to create this wonderful meme titled Old School Friday and since I love my music I had to sign up to join! To join in the Old School Friday Fun go Here for guidelines.

I loved Green Acres! Hawaii 5-0 was spotted twice for this theme. I did not like the show but I did like the song and when He aid Book em Dan-O!

Actually Petticoat Junction came out a little before Green Acres, (although they were neighbors).

I loved all those old tv land shows.

I know of Green Acres but not Petticoat Junction. Hawaii Five-O's theme song is certainly one everyone should recognize.

Have a great weekend!

I was singing the theme song to GA the other day. Can't believe I knew all the words...still, LOL
