Old School Friday- A tribute to Bob Marley

I can't believe we have reached the end of the week already. The year is almost at a close. This weeks theme is a tribute to whomever you feel deserves it. I can't let this World icon go unoticed. My tribute is to the late, great Robert Nester Marley. Wheter you love reggae or not, one cannot deny the vibe that Bob use to bring to a concert. Old school reggae is sorely missed. I decided to create a video myself for this tribute. I hope you like it.

Old School Friday- Christmas Tunes

Well, its that magical time again. I can't believe the year is almost over. I can't say I will miss 2008, but as in anything in life there are good times and bad times. So this weeks meme is Christmas tunes.

This weeks meme is Christmas tunes. Wow, where has the year gone already? I can't say I will miss too much of this year, but as in anything good and bad things.


Of course I found my Bob Marley Christmas. Christmas and Bob go so well together. He just brings good cheer.




Wow, I tell you YouTube has everything. Can you believe that I found a Toni Braxton and Shaggy collaboration. This song Christmas in Jamaica (which by the way is not a bad idea), was produced on the album titled, "Snowflakes." This is Toni Braxton's first Christmas album from 2001.




and I had to end this weeks meme with one of the most powerful singers of our time. This is the wonderful Mahalia Jackson. Here she is singing a wonderful rendition of "Silent Night."






Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. I thought that would be my last meme but I had to state (for Iriegal anyway) the reason for the season.
