The lady known as "The
lady of Song" or "Queen of Jazz" if she lived would have been 96
today. This amazing lady gave us so many great recordings in her career. She
was awarded the "National Medal of Arts" by Ronald Reagan and
the "Presidential Medal of Freedom" by George H.W. Bush. The
world has lost a great talent.
