Congrats to Jennifer Hudson

The 27-year-old Oscar winner gave birth to her first child, David Daniel Otunga Jr., on Monday, according to her publicist, Lisa Kasteler of WKT Public Relations. He is named after her fiance, David Otunga. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

I am just glad he got over New York. (Tiffany ). I don't even know why he auditioned for that show.

My girl Jennifer Hudson tore up the National Anthem at the Superbowl Today..

What Were They Waiting For?

Well, maybe justice can finally be served. William Balfour, was formally charged Tuesday morning with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion by the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

William Balfour's attornery Joshua Kutnick stated that, "They were under pressure because William is scheduled for a parole hearing tomorrow and, if successful, he would have been released." Some people assume that the statement given by one of Balfour's ex-girlfriend were in which she told the police that he owned a weapon resembling the .45-caliber gun tied to the shootings but that he even confessed to her he had committed the murders.

I can't imagine what the holidays are like with so many loved ones deceased at once. My heart grieves for Jennifer and her family. There really is no justice when any crime is commited. The deceased family and the accused family both have incurred loses.

Jennifer Hudson-New Founddation

Jennifer Hudson decided one way to direct her grief was to do something on behalf of the slain members of her family. The Hudson-King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims is named in honor of the singer-actress's slain mother Darnell Hudson Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King.

"The specific purpose of the Foundation is to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to a violent crime," the family says in a statement. "This encompasses their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counseling."

Jennifer Hudson reward of 100,000 for Nephews return

Investigators and community members pressed their search for Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew on Monday, hoping a $100,000 reward offered by the Oscar-winning actress for the 7-year-old's safe return might turn up clues to his whereabouts.

An Amber Alert remained in effect Sunday for Julian, the son of Jennifer Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson. The bodies of his 57-year-old grandmother, Darnell Donerson, and 29-year-old uncle, Jason Hudson, were found in the home they shared on the city's South Side on Friday. The deaths were ruled homicides.

The tradegy is that I feel little Julian "saw" who killed his family. Again continued prayers for Julian.

Condolences to Jennifer Hudson and Her Family

I guess by now everyone has heard of the tragedy that has happened to Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson-Donnerson and her brother Jason Hudson were both shot and killed in Chicago this morning. Neighbors reported hearing the gun shots, but didn’t think anything about it.

It wasn’t until later in the afternoon that a family member discovered the body of Jennifer Hudson’s mother on the living room floor.

Chicago Police listed Julia’s husband, William Balfour as the primary suspect. He is reportedly in custody but Julian wasn’t with him and he hasn’t been charged with anything - yet. It’s been noted that he is on parole, after serving time on an attempted murder charge..

And Jennifer’s nephew, Julian is still missing.

An amber alert is in effect for the whereabouts of Julian
Ominously, TMZ says Julia may be missing as well. She is a bus driver, worked her shift today and hasn’t been seen since.

Jennifer Hudson is on her way to Chicago. We are all praying for both Julia and her son Julian.
